The proprietary series of Certification Standards, are developed by Allergy Standards Limited (ASL) and adopted by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America (AAFA) after a review and agreement by an independant Medical Review Panel.
The number of Certifictaion Standards continues to grow in order to encompass a wide range of products recommended by leading medical experts and healthcare organizations. The asthma & allergy friendly™ Certification Program reserves the right to regularly review and update its standards to incorporate advances in available technology and changes in the standards of care.
