Due to its rapid growth across bedding and home sectors, the asthma & allergy friendly TM Certification Program recently hosted a series of seminars and meetings during the New York Home Fashions Market Week in New York City, September 14-18, 2009.

For the first time, the Certification Program hosted a showroom exclusively featuring certified asthma & Home Fashion Week Showroomallergy friendly TM  products  to demonstrate proper techniques for controlling indoor  allergens and importance of a comprehensive environmental control plan.  Program staff member were on hand to discuss the importance of independent certification of such products with manufacturers, retailers, and members of the press from across the country.

These discussions focused on promoting the crucial responsibility that retailers and manufacturers both have to scientifically substantiate the allergen reduction and environmental control marketing claims made by a wide variety of consumer products that they make and sell including many types of Home Fashion Products.
